Part 1 - review
However there were unpleasant problems related to the contact I had with the DJ I hired through your site.
DJ Jason Bilotti from Hamilton sent me a quote. I filled up an agreement, payed a deposit and gave him the details of my event that happened on Saturday, November 24, 2018, in Saint Catharines.
I explained to Jason I was helping with a 90th birthday celebration. There was a lunch in a winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake then I drove the elderly ladies to Saint Catharines where we were supposed to meet him at a hall around 4:45 pm. Unfortunately there was a delay with the ladies, the service and traffic. We arrived at the hall around 5:20 pm. Jason, the DJ, was extremely rude. He was stressed out because of the delay and as soon as I arrived there with the ladies, he started shouting that there was a breech of contract and he would charge us more money because we had made him wait. He was unpleasant from the beginning to the end of the event.
Personally, I never saw an individual request more money for working less hours. But he demanded to be payed as soon as we entered the hall for the party. I had to insist and give directions many times regarding the services he was supposed to provide. He was not happy about requests of songs... (Part 2 to follow)
Brenda M.We met with our DJ ahead of our event, handed to him a long list of songs to be played and even “*” specific most important songs. These songs were important to our family as they were reminders of our recently lost loved ones. Although promised that they would get played, they did not all get played. We found the dinner music did not have enough variety, even though we left this to the Djs choice. Also we watched our DJ ask the hall servers for coffee and when he found there was no coffee left, our DJ threw his cup across the table, in anger. As an attempt to keep the situation calm, I told him I would have the hall make him fresh coffee and he refused and said he didn’t want any because he would be worried they would do something to it. This whole situation lacked professionalism. Considering the DJ was a crucial component to our event, and we made sure to meet with the him ahead of time to discuss our concerns, we were extremely disappointed. We felt that our money had been paid so the DJ didn’t care about the service provided.

Diana V.He answered email promptly but I had too many questions so I had him call me which was great. He quickly responded with your too far away for me ( port hope to Bowmanville) and told me to call another number. I did. They answered asked if they could call me back and I never heard from them again.
I’m the end I googled my own locksmith who answered promptly, showed up on time and was very professional
Luc T.Joan herself seems great. The company not so much. Electrician came to my place to evaluate prior to estimate. Never received the estimate.
Follow up e-mail to Joan was not answered.
Erik S.Said he was going to pass on the job because he didn't want to spend 10 extra minutes measuring all the pieces. Then when I said measuring wasn't necessary he said he would pass for another understandable reason.
Just be upfront in the initial reply.
