I specialize in training women who want to lose weight, gain strength and improve posture. My main group is 40-70+, but I do train down to as young as 16 years old.
I offer in-person training, online training and hybrid in-person and online training. I also offer bellydance classes.
What has set me apart from many trainers is that I started out as a Registered Nurse.
Hello and Welcome! My name is Nina Shirazi, a Toronto based Body Harmonics Pilates and movement comprehensive teacher. As well, I am a CanfitPro certified personal trainer.
While having trained in Pilates, fitness and running, I have gained extensive knowledge of the body and movement in various forms such as mobility, strength training and rehabilitation.
My daily practice has brought balance to both my mind and body and it is this daily practice that has led me on self-discovery journey. I have a great desire to learn and want to continuously improve. Pilates has enabled me to do just that…what I love to do with both ease and joy!
My passion is to make movement as efficient as possible for you so that you feel good in your body, through improved movement and ultimately feel your strongest.
Luke is a very attentive, vast knowledge of the mechanics of the working body and was quick to identify my weak spots to build strength and feel better. It is not just about working out, but to make me feel better holistically. Luke also makes the work out fun. I look forward to our next session :)
Specializing in a variety of fitness disciplines is key, one that I follow. In addition to strength training and cardio, I focus my workouts on: Sports specific training, HIIT training, Olympic Weightlifting, boxing/ Mixed Martial arts, endurance training, and a variety of other fitness programs. Every program is tailored to the client, with a special emphasis on dieting and nutrition.
I’d like to add up my qualifications. I’ve done Pre Level 1 coaching course which is designed specially to handle and train kids, I’ve a 3 years coaching experience and I’ve been a coach in Aitchison College, Lahore, in the junior department for about 3 years which is one of the most well known and renowned educational institution of Pakistan where I train kids from around 5-15 years old and currently about 50 students are under my supervision and have 2 junior coaches who help me out with it.

My program for self defense and training in general incorporates various system of martial arts. From western boxing, to Kung fu, Muay thai, Jeet kune do. I approach training in a balanced way, meaning one must not only train the technique, skill, and drills. But also taking care of the body, via proper stretching, nutrition, breathing exercises etc... All of these aspects make up the Equilibrio self defense program. Also I train people for specific fitness goals, mainly focusing and stemming from bodyweight, flexibility, mobility and coordination training.
