Founded and guided by Jordanne Erichsen, Express Voice Studio has teachers located in Little Italy, The Plateau, and Vieux Rosemont in Montreal, QC and is a branch of D.M.A Michael Warren’s NYC Studio. Dr. Warren’s approach has reversed the effect of nodes, returned lost voices in a matter of hours, and become the pedagogical foundation for international opera and musical theatre performers. ​ Express Voice Studio promotes the natural functioning of the voice, yielding rapid results which empower and enable flexible artistry. Often, students will arrive at Express looking for a more concrete, less metaphorical approach to vocal pedagogy.  ​ Vocal Technique is in fact easier than you think. Like Any athlete, building the strength and endurance of your vocal connection takes formulated exercises tailored to the strengths and weaknesses of your instrument. Because no two voices are the same, healthy vocal workouts are individually tailored and adjusted as the student progresses.  Your voice should be malleable to your artistry. My rate is $90/hour, but I am excited to announce members of ELAN can take lessons at a pay what you can rate. Students also receive a discounted price at $70/hour. I have two other amazing teachers working for me who utilize the same foundations to voice. Ian Sabourin teaches at $35/hour and Alisha Ruiss at $40/hour. Please contact me to discuss who is best suited for you!
We will always spend part of the lesson doing strategic exercises to strengthen your voice.
Masters in Vocal Performance Studied with a top Voice Coach in New York City for Musical theatre pop and opera. Teacher for over 6 Years with the Regina Conservatory of Music, Music Box Studios, Ottawa Music School, and Montreal Academy of Music. Performed title roles in several operas across Canada.
I myself had severe vocal issues and hunted for how to sing properly. My ten year journey is not something most people dedicate their lives to. Learn from me, and know that not all teachers are good singers, and not all good performers are good teachers. Michael Warren taught me how to sing despite agonizing vocal tension. Now I am showing you.

Look at if their students were absolute beginners. It is not how good they are now, but where they started from. Most teachers can help an already technically sound singer, but few can help those starting from nothing
