Jeanette is the founder of Cancer Coach Professionals of America Inc., and the author of Smart Woman’s Guide to Surviving Cancer. She has a BASc in Nutritional Sciences – specializing in Oncology. In 2004, Jeanette developed a very successful professional integrative oncology certificate program for doctors, nurses and oncologists globally. My husband Rick, was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer and we had the privilege of finding Jeanette as his cancer coach. We elected to go the conventional route but were told by the doctors that it may be too late for Rick. Filled with fear and anxiety, Jeanette provided my husband with a stress and anxiety reduction program that allowed Rick to endure less physical pain, to relax and sleep again. She changed his diet and he was doing well. She offered options for Rick to speak with his Oncologist about and the doctor began to implement some of these recommendations and they helped. Rick was doing so well. He was discharged from hospital after many weeks and because he was no longer in hospital care, Jeanette could now work on providing integrative applications at home. Unfortunately , within a couple days at home, my husband had a bad fall in the driveway and passed away in hospital after being on life support for several weeks. I would highly recommend Jeanette as your cancer coach because she gave Rick his quality of life back …instead of worrying to the limit about his cancer, he learned how to live and enjoy his life to the end - as much as possible without fear and anxiety.
