Erik Hoibak - BC General Employees' Union (BCGEU) Erik Hoibak is a Staff Representative in the Advocacy Department of the BC General Employees' Union (BCGEU). The BCGEU is the largest and most diverse union in British Columbia, Canada, representing over 80,000 workers in both the public and private sectors. As a Union Lawyer, Erik takes care of the legal needs of the union and its members. He has a law degree from the prestigious Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC, and he uses his legal expertise to help workers navigate complex labor laws and regulations. Erik is a tireless advocate for workers' rights and has fought for better wages, benefits, and working conditions for BCGEU members.
