I like to create session packages specifically for each client to ensure that every one of my clients is getting exactly what they are wanting from the session length to the amount of images delivered. I believe that creating your perfect session together will allow for you to see the true value in your experience and will foster excitement and love even after you have received your images.

I always love meeting my clients face-to-face before a session but understand that this isn't always possible. By meeting in person, it allows for all of us to get a feel for each other and to be sure that having me as your photographer is a perfect fit. Here we discuss all of your hopes and dreams for the session, why you want to do it, your budget, and what you hope to get out of your experience with me. We also come to an agreement about what sort of package you are looking for, so we will discuss length of the session, location of our shoot, how many images you would like, and product possibilities for you to purchase. The next step is picking a date. Once we have agreed upon a date, I send through a Welcome package that includes information about your session, how to prepare, and papers for you to sign with our agreements we had previously discussed, In order to secure your session date, I also ask for a deposit that is a portion of the total session cost. *deposit fees are non-refundable* We are in full communication the entire time between our first meeting and when your session is so you are able to answer any questions that you might have and we can plan the perfect experience together. Things such as location, venue, props, outfits, hair/makeup etc will all be finalised and confirmed during this stage also. Before your session it is also required that the remainder of the full payment for you session is made. The next step is your shoot day. This will be pretty informal (as I like to keep things nice and casual) and I'll do everything in my power to make sure that you are comfortable and we have lots of fun and laughs. Images after the shoot will be edited and available for you to choose from no later than 5 business days (unless previously discussed). Here you will be able to look through all of the amazing images we created together and to select all of the images that you fall deeply in love with. Depending on your package will then determine the next steps that we take (whether it is ordering you product, printing your images, or creating beautiful artwork together). When I was young, I had always been drawn to photography. The ability to freeze a beautiful moment in time and be able to remember it forever was just amazing for me. I took photography courses for summer camp and through high school and have always been an eager learner. I bought my first professional camera when I graduated university at the age of 22 and took it with me as I traveled Japan with my mom and grandmother for a month. Even though I had kept my camera on Auto mode the entire time, I was astonished by the amazing capabilities that I had right at my finger tips. Since then I have always challenged myself to photograph in different situations, different times of day, different styles, and have always been drawn to photographing people. I love that I can make a true connection with someone and have the ability to show their true self through a single image. I now use photography to help empower people. Whether you are a small business wanting to show off your amazing skills to the world, or a person who is looking to love themselves again, it is my absolute pleasure to go on this journey with you.

I have worked with a wide variety of clients. People who make 6 figures, all the way down to single moms of new born babies who have found the money to be able to capture beautiful moments in their babies starts of life. I welcome the conversation from every person, but also understand that not every client is a fit for every photographer, and I like having open conversations at the beginning of our interactions to help ensure that we are a perfect match for each other.

This is something that we discuss in our consultation. I like to make sure that everyone involved feels like their time is valued, so we agree on approximate lengths of the session. I do however like to ensure that I have a wide variety of images to deliver to you, so will always make sure that I am satisfied with my results before we finish our session, this may mean that we run a few minutes overboard.

My recommendation to you is to try and meet with your photographer. Whether it is on the phone, in person, or over video chat. There is something about feeling the energy between the people that I'm photographing that allows me to understand if we will be a fit or not. I always ensure that there is compatibility and the ability to develop trust, because I believe it is crucial in order for you to allow yourself to show your true colors and be vulnerable during your session.
