Pricing templates have been created based on our long track record (established in *information hidden*That being said, material costs can be volatile, and each project is so unique. There are hundreds of decisions that would need to be made in our Planning & Design phase prior to coming up with the full project scope and pricing. Rather than asking for lump sums of money up front, we would work with you in the design phase first. Once the design phase is complete, we would create a very detailed proposal for the actual site work for you to approve.

At Alderidge we take the extra time in communication that is needed within our Planning & Design phase to ensure that decisions are made before site work begins. Our design team will help with the theme, selections, plans, as well as setting homeowners up with a customized online project management system. This will provide up to date scheduling, financials, photos, files, communication (and more) will be readily accessible. An experienced Alderidge project manager will be involved in the Planning & Design phase straight through to the end of the job to ensure consistency and job flow. Our trustworthy and conscientious skilled labourers and sub trades will set you at ease the moment they enter your home until the work is complete, and our friendly and competent office staff will be there for support throughout.

With 1200 homes renovated and counting, we have an exceptionally creative and caring team with a wide variety of personalities and experience that is able to adapt to the rapidly changing industry. Our team holds 14 skilled team members. In the group there are red seal carpenters, custom cabinetry specialists, various education in relation to design & drawing software, business majors, first aid reps, certified schluter system reps, leaders in the company with many hours of CHBA training and professional leadership coaching. We also hold and maintain our building warranty through Pacific Home Warranty.

In 2010 Erik and Mark brought their separate construction companies together to work on a few joint projects. It was evident right from the start that they were completely different in personality, experience and even construction tools, and that it would be an incredible advantage to join forces. A couple years later Alderidge then expanded from restoration and renovation work to add a custom cabinetry division when Erik’s brother Doug joined the team. As we grew, we made sure that our purpose was further defined by partnering with FH Canada to make an impact in Guatemala. We also focussed on adding customer support, design and on line systems to provide homeowners with a complete package reflecting our desire for streamlined communication and our commitment to quality

We recently completed a full renovation of an old farmhouse. From the first day of abatement to completion the project took 5 months. This home was being renovated by a daughter for her father to be able to live in his own space while still being on the family farm. We were able to provide him with a home that was functional and stylish while thinking of his needs. We added a new front entrance to the home as well as a deck on the back. The character was kept but the home is now clean, safe and fresh.

It may be tempting to go for the lowest cost estimate given, however quality and relationship are far more important. Whomever you hire, will be in your home for many months, will be helping to provide you the home you are looking for. Openness, trust and communication are the three most important things that should be considered when hiring a professional.
