Professional experienceI have been in the interior finishing / painting sector of the trades for 14 years, i worked for very reputable contracting companies over the years and learned how to do things properly using quality materials.
I learned the proper prep / application methods and rules of the painting trade from a team of journeyman painters, some with 30 years+ experience in the painting industry.
I also learned the proper systems for drywall boarding and taping from a journeyman drywaller so patching a hole is definitely not a problem! We have the tools and knowledge to take on any size drywall boarding / taping project! (We recently taped the new a&w in Brighton)
I encorporate everything i have learned over the years into running my business and i work along side my crew making sure every step is completed to code.
We are about providing quality services that stand the test of time.
I have operated precision coatings since 2015 and one of the first big projects we did was painting the front back and sides of the exterior of the Thirsty schollar/ go for sushi / traxx footwear stripmall on 8th street in july 2015.
I have done everything from high end new construction to residential and commercial repaints, both interior and exterior, and application of industrial protective coatings on many substrates such as woods, stucco and masonry to fiberboards, fiberglass, steel, aluminium, galvanized metals, andoized metals,
I have been operating airless spray equipment since 2009, i take a huge amount of pride in my fine finish spray work and personally spray the coatings on all projects i am very knowledgeable with coatings and know what coatings hold up to the harsh canadian winter on an exterior substrate and remainin flexible when it's -50 and wont crack on tin and other thin exterior metals, resist wind driven rain and what coatings will hold up to scrubbing and resisting stains on interior substrates in homes to industrial machinery, industrial epoxy / moisture curing uretuane floor systems etc. I know what works and holds up and what doesn't!!
I am very passionate about painting and i strive for perfection. That is the reason i call my business precision coatings!
I am adament about using the right material for the substrate it is being applied to and using the best application tools and methods ensuring my equipment is maintained and we are always ready to take on any size project.
I work the way i was taught. I run a tight ship, i dont tolerate drugs, alcohol, swearing, unprofessionalism or anything of the sort on my jobsites.
I encorporate everything i have learned in the past into running my business and my number one goal is to strive for customer satisfaction. I achieve this by doing my job with the utmost in professionalism in both the quality of my work and the cleanliness i leave my jobsite after ( where requested/ needed)
I do things to make renovations less hectic for my customers such as: I
Keep my jobsite clean and tidy.
Hoard off cold air returns and work areas where requested.
Use a dustless sanding system with a powerful HEPA filtration vacuum to avoid airborne drywall dust.
clean up mess after scraping/ cover plants etc with poly to avoid small paint chips in plant beds.
Personally overlook every square inch of the work we as a company are doing to maintain the strictest quality control standards in the industry!
Doing a good job isn't as simple as cutting a straight line, coatings have to be applied at the proper thickness (mills) in order for the coating being applied to be applicable for a warranty ( manufacturer will refuse warranty if paint is applied too thin)
This is a very common practice with the average painting company as many "cheap out" with paint either thinning with water ( lose fade resistance properties / water resistant/ burnish resistance properties of the coating) or just simply applying the paint too thin which makes the paint lose all its protective properties along with the warranty from the manufacturer!
For that reason and especially the case with exterior painting, its best to leave it to a professional.
We are a professional company that is an owner/ operator ran business. What that means is the owner of the business is at the jobsite doing the work with the crew making sure everyone is doing their job properly and we only hire individually that do their best and understand how important it is to ensure every task is done properly. we understand property is one of the biggest investments you make in your life and we understand that the coating covering the substrate on the exterior of your property is the only thing preventing damage to the substrate. For that reason we dont hire people with little experience and let them learn unsupervised on your house through "trial and error" after a two week course! We ensure anyone doing any kind of prep or application work knows the proper procedure and have the ability to deliver consistent quality work on every job.
Before anyone picks up a brush/ roller/ spray gun at this company they must fully understand the rules of painting and the proper primers / finish coats to use and the proper application tools/ techniques for the coatings being used.
This isnt achived in a 2 week course, its achieved from learning directly how to do something by a true professional painter who has the ability to physically correct someone in their application technique.
We are airless spray painting professionals with the right sprayers to get the job done ( we have big machines that pump high solids content protective / elastomeric coatings without watering down the paint which we never do regardless if we supply material or not.
We don't give your project away to a sub contractor, we do it ourselves and make sure it's done right!
