Professional experience
My main area of interest and expertise is parenting and couples counselling. A common issue for my clients has been how the families cope with their children’s issues. Knowing and loving your child sometimes is just not enough to help them cope with their issues sometimes - this is what I learned in my years at Kids Help Phone, and York Hills. As a counsellor and therapist, I will help you develop the resources you need to be there for you kids. That said, I love working with a variety of people, and am open to talking to anyone who feels comfortable opening up to me.

Master of Social Work degree Registration with the College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers Membership with the Ontario Association of Social Workers (the two regulating bodies for the social work profession) Areas of expertise and research: - immigrant youth - self harming behaviours - addictions - connection between attachment theory and mindfulness I also have experience working with people with mental health diagnoses such as depression and anxiety, mood and thought disorders, psychosis and addictions.
