About Richmond Hill Psychotherapy and Counseling Service
Professional experience
I provide assessment and therapy for helping my clients to overcome mood and anxiety challenges such as depression, anxiety, OCD, and PTSD as well as other psycho-emotional disturbances. Furthermore, I have extensive experience completing independent psychological evaluations, motor vehicle accident assessments and treatment. I provide assessment and therapy for adults and adolescents in my private practice.I am a registered Psychotherapist and a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapist. I have more than twenty years of experience in assessment and treatment of psychological problems. I am a member in good standing with the Association of Registered Psychotherapist & Mental Health Professionals (OACCPP). My approaches including, ( CBT), (ACT),(MBCT), (DBT), and Client Centered Therapy. I have first-hand experience working with students at YCDSB. I can provide suggestions specific to the students with behavioral and academic challenges such as ADHD, Learning disabilities, and self- confidence problems. I also help with students to overcome test and presentation anxiety. Although my main approach to help my clients are evidence-based therapeutic techniques, the holistic part of human have been always focused of my attention. I also help my client to overcome low self-confidence and low self-esteem.Confidentiality, validation and nurturing are the foundations of my practice.
