Notre école accueille environ 450 élèves et leur offre la formation générale, de la 1re à la 5e année du secondaire, ainsi que l’apprentissage individualisé. Nous desservons les six municipalités suivantes: St-Prosper, St-Benjamin, Ste-Rose, St-Louis, Ste-Aurélie, St-Zacharie et quelques élèves provenant d’autres municipalités. Nous proposons trois structures spécifiques à la clientèle en adaptation scolaire (EHDAA) : initiation à la vie sociale et professionnelle (un groupe en déficience moyenne), formation axée sur l’emploi (FPT et FMS) et un centre de ressources multidisciplinaires. Pour permettre à nos élèves de vivre des réussites à leur portée, la musique et le sport occupent une place importante de même que le volet consacré à des activités manuelles et culturelles. Services offerts aux élèves dont la persévérance scolaire est fragile : • Un suivi personnalisé est offert à chaque élève ciblé. Quatre enseignantes sont libérées d’une partie de leur tâche afin d’apporter le soutien à ces élèves. Elles font en premier lieu un soutien en classe pour permettre aux élèves présentant de la difficulté de recevoir de l’aide immédiate. Elles rencontrent également les élèves individuellement afin de leur apprendre des méthodes de travail et faire de la récupération sur les notions peu ou pas comprises en classe. • Le centre de ressources multidisciplinaires (CRM) offre un service spécialisé pour l’éducation des élèves ayant un trouble de comportement grave. Les élèves qui bénéficient de ce service proviennent de l’ensemble du territoire de la commission scolaire Beauce-Etchemin. Mobilisation de l’équipe-école pour agir le plus rapidement possible. Rencontre cycle par l’équipe d’enseignants avec la présence d’un membre des services de l’école afin de cibler la meilleure intervention pour l’élève. • Depuis quelques années, une technicienne en travail social propose des projets reliés à la motivation scolaire (17 heures/semaine). Un projet est mis en place en 3e secondaire avec les garçons : mentorat, visite d’entreprise ou de cégep et suivi individualisé sur leurs aspirations et les moyens concrets pour atteindre leurs objectifs. Elle intervient également lorsqu’un élève est ciblé par les enseignants suite à une baisse de motivation scolaire, qu’elle soit momentanée ou plus profonde. Projets réalisés pour favoriser la persévérance scolaire : • Programme d’apprentissage individualisé, permettant aux élèves ayant des retards scolaires de vivre des réussites; • Programme PréDEP, en lien avec la formation professionnelle, amène les élèves à développer des habiletés propres à la FP. The field of Medieval Studies is concerned with the history, thought, and artistic expression of the various cultures on the European continent over the course of a millennium (circa 500–1500). It arose as a challenge to traditional intellectual conventions, an alternative way of integrating bodies of knowledge that were becoming separated, and of pursuing matters that had been neglected. The Centre for Medieval Studies was envisaged by its founders not just as an institutional umbrella for traditional departments but as a meeting point at which topics and issues for multiple disciplines would be explored and studied in depth. Medieval Studies in Toronto has an international reputation, resting on the wide-ranging interests of its faculty, the calibre and preparation of its graduates, and its outstanding library facilities. The Centre coordinates a program that includes various resources of the Pontifical Institute of Mediæval Studies and of a wide variety of participating departments and programs within the University of Toronto. Québec, G1A 0A2La Clinique de droit international pénal et humanitaire (CDIPH) est un organisme de la Faculté de droit de l’Université Laval qui offre gratuitement des services de recherche et de rédaction juridiques à des institutions, des avocats, des organisations non-gouvernementales ou des victimes de violations des droits humains. Elle permet ainsi aux étudiants d’acquérir une expérience pratique en droit international pénal, humanitaire et des droits de la personne très recherchée par les acteurs de ces domaines de droit. Fondée en 2008 et fonctionnant à l’origine sur une base ad hoc, la CDIPH associe désormais une vingtaine d’étudiants par semestre à des juristes internationaux. Jusqu’à maintenant, les stagiaires de la CDIPH ont travaillé avec des professionnels responsables de dossiers relevant du Tribunal pénal international pour l’ex-Yougoslavie (TPIY), du Tribunal pénal international pour le Rwanda (TPIR), de la Cour pénale internationale (CPI), du Tribunal spécial pour le Liban (TSL) et des Chambres extraordinaires au sein des Tribunaux cambodgiens (CETC). Ils ont également contribué à plusieurs affaires impliquant des violations alléguées de droits humains devant les juridictions canadiennes et françaises. Enfin, ils ont collaboré avec les organismes non-gouvernementaux Avocats sans frontières, Peace and Justice Initiative, Centre canadien de justice internationale, Amnesty International et Association international des avocats de la défense pour réaliser une grande variété de projets. Ainsi, à l’occasion de ces projets, la CDIPH s’est associée à des Procureurs, des avocats de la défense, des juges et des victimes. Les stages qu’offrent la CDIPH peuvent s’effectuer à l’Université Laval ou à l’endroit où le professionnel exécute ses fonctions, selon les besoins de ce dernier et en fonction des contraintes et désirs de l’étudiant. La supervision et l’évaluation académique sont réparties entre le professionnel responsable du dossier et la directrice de la CDIPH, Me Fannie Lafontaine. Ces stages permettent à l’étudiant d’obtenir trois crédits universitaires.
