I live in a towhouse. My master bedroom shares a wall with my neighbour. The rubming/bass of his snoring permeates the wall and/or floor, and is noticeable even when I have a white noise machine on. Given he is overweight and overall a massive person, his snoring actually seems to be shaking the floor a bit. I am looking to soundproof the wall (the wall is sort of like a trapezoid with the highest part about 12 feet).

The building is a triplex. We would like to soundproof in the middle apartment: take down all existing drywall ceilings, add soundproofing, put up new drywall; take up existing carpet, original thin-strip wood floors, sub-floors, add soundproofing, put back sub-floors, add padding for vinyl, lay vinyl planks. Our timeline is very tight and we are looking absolutely flat ceilings.
